Banoffee’s ‘Contagious’ Is A Neon, ’80s Ballad

Banoffee has snuck another track Contagious out ahead of the release of her new album Look At Us Dad next Friday.

While its predecessors Tennis Fan and Count On You were upbeat pockets of pop, this one slows it down a bit and gets emotional.

On top of an ’80s backdrop, not unlike the one The Weeknd and Dua Lipa have recently played on top of, Banoffee gives us one of her most vulnerable performances to date.

“If you want space, I’ll give you all I’ve got, think I’m contagious with something you don’t want,” she sings.

Banoffee has stepped it up with her most recent material and this new album is shaping up to be a must listen.
