Preview Kanye West's Video For 'Only One'

A man of tradition, Kanye West appeared on the Ellen show today, premiering the video for Only One in the same fashion as Bound 2 and Love Lockdown. The Spike Jonze-directed clip features West singing the Paul McCartney-co-produced lullaby to baby North in a grassy field, apparently in Scotland. Shot in home video-style, it's a tear-jerker Bound 2 make any unsuspecting person clucky. If you listen really closely, you can hear about 40 sets of ovaries simultaneously exploding in the studio.

Watch St. Vincent's 'Birth In Reverse' Video

St. Vincent is only months away from touching down in the country for Laneway Festival and this new video for Birth In Reverse will no doubt stir some more excitement. The track is from her self-titled record, released this year, which has turned up on many of the end of year lists. She looks both tranquil and mental in the video, but at all times acts like a total boss. What a woman and what a song.

Watch: Flight Facilities feat. Reggie Watts - 'Sunshine'

Flight Facilities dropped their debut album, Down To Earth, last week and the response has already been (unsurprisingly) massive. Featuring prominent artists such as Emma Louise, Bishop Nehru, Owl Eyes and Kylie Minogue, the duo have been rapidly rising the iTunes charts, a testament to their faculty and devoted fan base. Today, they've released the video for their funky, '70s-inspired collaboration with Reggie WattsSunshine, which sees Watts strutting the boardwalk of what looks to be Venice Beach, Los Angeles.  Click here to buy Down To Earth from iTunes.

Watch Tkay Maidza's animated video for 'Switch Lanes'

Tkay Maidza has been busy as of late. She released her Switch Tape mixtape last week while in the midst of performing shows at New York's CMJ Music Marathon and now the Adelaide mini MC has debuted her music video for Switch Lanes. The Sachio Cook-directed clip is a fun, quirky animated short which sees a cartoon Tkay mingling with fantastical creatures, colourful shapes and patterns, and various pop culture references, perfectly suiting the stylings of the bubbly, Paces-produced track.

Watch: Flying Lotus & Kendrick Lamar's 'Never Catch Me' video

Fresh off the back of the news of Flying Lotus' upcoming appearance at next year's St Jerome's Laneway Festival, the LA producer has released the video for Kendrick Lamar-featuring Never Catch Me. Directed by Hiro Murai , whose past projects have involved Childish Gambino and The Shins, the somewhat macabre clip features two children rising from the dead and dancing away, unbeknownst to their grieving family.

Never Catch Me features on Lotus' forthcoming You're Dead! album, out 7 October.

Premiering: The Harry Heart Chrysalis' debut video for 'Vex'

We were enamoured with Harry Heart Chrysalis' latest single, Vex when it premiered last week and now he's released an arresting video to boot. Shot and directed by Sydney cinematographer Matt Scott Chow, the rather sinister clip is black & white in nature and primarily shot in reverse. Said to be inspired by The White Stripes' famous video for I Just Don't Know What To Do With Myself, it subtly surrounds the story of a guy left heartbroken by his unfaithful girlfriend and his violent retaliation to the 'other guy' in the relationship. The track and accompanying video are both emotionally-stirring and passionate, even slightly foreboding, and we're looking forward to seeing what else the Triple J Unearthed High nominee has up his sleeve.

In celebration of this premiere, Harry Heart and his band will be touring Vex and the rest of their catalog in October. Tour dates as below:

Elliphant & MØ drop risqué video for 'One More'

Elliphant and MØ had us enamoured when we first heard One More in this week's First Impressions and now they've definitely grabbed our attention again in the accompanying clip. Donning Geisha-inspired hair-dos and Adidas-clad in matching jackets and light-up slides, the pair get messy out on the town on a night of drunken debauchery. Directed by Tim Erem, it features the two gals drinking, dancing, fighting, kissing and making up.

SAFIA release apocalyptic video for 'You Are The One'

Canberra locals, SAFIA have released their apocalypse-inspired clip for their latest single, You Are The One. Directed by Jimmy Ennett, it was filmed in one single shot and features cameos from both Yeo and Citizen Kay. Ennett has said of the video:

“I really wanted to do the theme justice without going deep into cliche or the easy route... The end of the world seemed like a good place to start, and it meant we could also stretch creatively and cinematically to create a piece that has a complete symbiotic relationship with this amazing song.”

The trio has gone from strength to strength this year, touring with Lorde and performing at both Splendour in the Grass and BIGSOUND. You can catch them at their You Are The One national tour this week, opening at Bendigo.
