We're crying cuz we love these songs.
11. Cardi B - Please Me (Feat. Bruno Mars)
Cardi B and Bruno Mars have teamed up once again for a song that sounds like it could've slotted nicely onto 24k Magic. It's more Bruno than Cardi but that doesn't mean her verses aren't anything but instantly likeable.
10. Alma - Summer
Alma's last few songs have been crunchy and tough but on this latest one she's softened things up. It's a tender mid-tempo pop songs that allows us to soak up the texture in Alma's voice.
9. Girl Crush - Baby Steps
British duo Girl Crush continue to tap away at our hearts with their dreamy pop. Baby Steps is their latest and it's one of their most intimate cuts yet.
8. Kehlani - Butterfly
While we wait for Kehlani's new mixtape While We Wait she's dropped off another one. Butterfly is nothing like its predecessor Nights Like This, edging closer to the acoustic soul she brough on loose cuts like Honey.
7. QUIN - Mushroom Chocolate (Feat. 6lack)
If you didn't know QUIN and 6lack are a couple and they've marked their union with a slinky Valentines Day jam Mushroom Chocolate. Over a minimal Chuck Inglish beat the pair literally drip with chemistry with each providing harmonies for each other.
6. Roses Gabor - Turkish Delight
British artist Roses Gabor is creating some spectacular music right now and it's about time she got noticed. Turkish Delight is a late night, club stomper with some of the crispest vocals we've heard in a long time.
5. Years & Years + MNEK - Valentino
Years & Years and MNEK are so closely aligned as pop songwriters it was only a matter of time until they combined their forces for magic. Valentino is that said magic. It's an early '00s-inspired banger complete with Italiano strings.
4. CXLOE - I Can't Have Nice Things
There's no one in this country making shinier, bolder pop than CXLOE. She hit her stride with Show You and now she's leaping on I Can't Have Nice Things. It's a Julia Michaels-tinged spot of genius.
3. Rex Orange County - New House
Rex Orange County is back with his first new drop in well over a drop and goddamn it's good to hear his voice. New House feels so easy proving once again that Rex Orange County has the goods to become one of the most effortless songwriters of this generation.
2. Jessie Ware - Adore You
Adore You is Jessie Ware's second new song in six months following on from Overtime and she's once again going back to her dance roots with the help of Metronomy's Joe Mount. Ware is in top form, delivering breathy vocals and some ethereal notes towards the end. She sounds like she's falling in love with every elongated note and so are we.
1. Lizzo - Cuz I Love You
While its predessecor Juice brought the funk, Cuz I Love You is serving vocals and Lizzo sounds incredible. It's a crunchy, passionate moment that allows her to show off in a way we've never seen before.
