22 year-old Central Coast muso Jake Howden has dropped his Quintilis EP proving he's one of the most promising artists in the country.
Melding acoustic guitar with careful, considered electronica he's carved a sound that's distinctly his own. It's also an effortlessly emotional listen thanks to the instrumentation and direct lyrics.
There are more forward pop tracks like Lungs and deeper, more introspective tunes like Move, covering all bases.
It's an incredibly cohesive listen for such a young artist and a good sign that he's going to have no trouble putting his stamp on the industry.
