As New Zealand's electronic music scene continues to diversify and make international waves, SACHI are leading the way.
The Kiwi duo have had an extremely strong year, releasing just four track and choosing quality over quantity. Their latest groover features US rapper Mick Jenkins but they really hit gold earlier in the year by teaming up with fellow local artist Thomston on Ride.
They're going to cap off the year playing Alison Wonderland's Scarehouse Project in December, included on a bill that features A$AP Ferg, Lido and Lunice.
Ahead of that, we got them to put together a playlist of tracks they're vibing right now and they've done a banging job. Post Malone, Playboi Carti and Matthew Young all feature on the 10-track playlist that we've instantly put on high rotation.
Check it out below plus read the reasons why they're loving each of the tracks.
Post Malone & 21 Savage - Rockstar
Post can do no wrong. He’s been so consistent since he popped up.
Toro Y Moi - Girl Like You
Chaz knows what’s good.
L.A Women - Call On Me
L.A Women are the best. We have a song coming out with them. We have a whole lot of songs with them, we’re currently writing one as I'm writing this actually.
Majid Jordan & dvsn - My Intentions
Majid Jordan are so underrated. Great new one from them and dvsn who writes a lot of Drake’s stuff.
Ski Mask The Slump God - Catch Me Outside
Ski Mask’s flows are always so creative and different. This beat on this one is sooo good too.
Touch Sensitive - Veronica
We’ve been listening to Touch for years, Pizza Guy is a classic. His new album is rad. Veronica is such a funky summer jam. This guy has all the grooves.
Matthew Young - Collect
Collect is one of the best songs of the year.
playboi carti & Lil Uzi Vert - wokeuplikethis*
We went to a playboi carti show this year. Uzi is the next Drake.
Prince - CLOUDS
The funkiest. R.I.P the king.
Young Thug - Daddy’s Birthday
Whatever Thug is doing he needs to keep doing it!
