We couldn't be more pumped to announce that on top of his appearances at next year's Laneway Festival, Tourist is playing two sideshows presented by BBE and ourselves.
The British producer who released U, one of our favourite albums of 2016 so far, and played some of the best shows on Aussie soil this year will return to play headline shows in Sydney and Melbourne.
These aren't just any ol' Laneway sideshows either. Apart from the fact Tourist has one of the most sonically and visually hypnotising shows on the planet, he's bringing Brooklyn-based producer The Range with him, doubling up on the emotion and making these shows even more special.
We called his second album Potential, released earlier this year, "an expertly crafted record that comes unfiltered from a creator who is emotional, technical and inquisitive," labelling it Album Of The Week.
In a move that's sure to only make you more excited about Tourist touching down in January, he's dropped the video for the title track of the record U. It's an emotionally-charged, visual masterpiece directed by Jacob Robinson and Dillon Moore. Robinson designed the stunning U album cover while Robinson has worked on videos for King Hendry and Vindata.
