Wu-Tang Clan's RZA is a man who should hardly need any introduction whatsoever, and that this point in time neither should Paul Banks, lead vocalist (not to mention lyricist and guitarist) for tremendous indie rock band Interpol. What might need some introducing, however, is the new act of Banks and Steelz - the collaboration act between the aforementioned RZA and Paul Banks. Currently prepping their debut album as a duo, Banks and Steelz tapped Zane Lowe's World First program today to release the first taste of their collab album, with Love & War featuring RZA's Wu-Tang cohort Ghostface Killah.

Combining the sounds of Wu-Tang Clan, Interpol and the further musical talents of both men involved, Love & War may well genuinely be one of the single hottest tracks to see release from any artist this year. Infectious and upbeat, yet grimy and full of attitude.  Somehow recalling Mariachi music, 90's hip-hop, the best of late 2000s alternative music and the rising trumpets of a stampeding parade all at the same time, Love & War is a goosebumps inducing collaboration worthy of replay after replay.

Check out the track below, and keep your eyes peeled for further Banks and Steelz news in the near future.
