Here at the interns, we make it our mission to fit in as much music into each week as humanly possible. Canberra producer Just A Gent is in the middle of his second national tour in the last two years, this time touring off the back of his massive new single Heavy As A Heartbreak. This Wednesday promises an awesomely intimate show down at Souseme, Beach Road Hotel Bondi. It's free which means there's literally zero excuse not to go.

Gypsy & The Cat
Thursday, 24th March @ Oxford Art Factory

Gypsy & The Cat have just dropped the first single off their upcoming fourth LP. Inside Your Mind is a killer, head bopper, and in celebration the guys are heading out to play a bunch of shows including an intimate venture this Thursday at OAF.

This Thursday at Oxford Art is like pretty much a festival lineup. After Gypsy & The Cat warm you up earlier in the night, Canadian producer Grandtheft will be bringing the beats and the bass for some last night partying. As part of BBE Dance Party, Easter Thursday will definitely be the evening to make the most of having the day off work on Friday.

Elle King
Thursday, 24th March @ Metro Theatre

Sassy singer-songwriter Elle King released her debut album last year, and it featured an incredible smorgasbord of musical styles. She’s a bit of country, some soul, grungy rock and folk mixed in with some bluesy chord changes. Even if you don’t know her massive single Ex’s & Oh’s by name, you’ll know it when you hear it, it was undoubtedly one of the most popular songs of 2015.

Brought to our attention last year by the effortlessly talented and ever reliable Ta-Ku, WAFIA has been making waves everywhere with her distinct vocal style. She’s just been announced to play Vivid LIVE with Ta-Ku at the Sydney Opera House, so this may be your last chance for a good while to see her in a small venue.
