Santigold likes to keep fans waiting between albums. We waited four years for Master Of My Make-Believe after her debut and now we’ve had to wait another three years for news of a follow-up to that. Today she’s ended that wait with new song Can’t Get Enough Of Myself and news of a new album 99c which comes with a brilliant album cover.
The track is a reggae-inspired, breezy number that comes perfectly in time for the Australian summer. “It’s a really upbeat song,” she told Zane Lowe, premiering the song on Beats 1.
“I ended up talking about the same things I wanted to talk about but in such a fun way.”
Welcome back Santi, it’s been far too long.
