It's been a long time coming but we finally have the debut album Love + War from British singer Kwabs. On first listen, it feels like it was definitely worth the wait as it's an incredibly confident bunch of tunes all bound by Kwabs' rich, soulful voice. Singles Walk, Fight For Love and Look Over Your Shoulder are obvious standouts but there are plenty of golden moments to be devoured here. It's an incredibly cohesive effort and changes are if you've enjoyed anything you heard before the album you'll enjoy the whole thing.
It's been a huge year for Kwabs so far. He's delivered a cracker of a track with Disclosure Willing & Able, worked with Fetty Wap and gave a huge performance to a packed tent at Reading Festival in the UK. With Love + War officially dropping on Friday, it's bound to get even bigger.
