British newcomer Zak Abel is no stranger to dance collaborations. He's worked with both Wookie and Gorgon City but it seems he might've found the perfect match on his latest single Say Sumthin produced by Kaytranada. Say Sumthin is a funky, '80s-tinged number that's not characteristic of Kaytranada's typical production but it works nonetheless. Abel's voice is slightly gritty and soulful, sounding like he'd slot in effortlessly into the current spectrum of British male singers while still having his own shtick. As far as we're concerned this is a number one single in the waiting which would be a fantastic thing both for Abel and Kaytranada.
