It's an exciting day, a very exciting day indeed because not only do we have news of a new CHVRCHES album, we also have the first single from the record titled Leave A Trace. The album is called Every Eye Open and it's due out on 25th September. Leave A Trace suggests it's going to be brilliant. It's not a huge departure from their debut The Bones Of What You Believe but if it's ain't broke don't fix it, right? The vocals of Lauren Mayberry are like honey and the beautiful melody just accentuates that. This is a track that will hit you on the first listen - immediate but intricate pop music.
A very confusing series of Instagram accounts made by the band has revealed that Leave The Trace will officially premiere in Australia tomorrow morning on triple j. See for yourself.
