You've probably just returned from the supermarket, stolen sampled grapes and dried apricots and are now even more in the mood for freebies. Well, you're in luck. We have a bunch of audio and visual delights hand-picked by theinterns to satisfy your cravings for anything that falls into your lap without indenting your bank account.

Watch: Megan Washington- TedxSydney talk: To Or Not Let Go

I’ve been tracking the career of Megan Washington for years and I’ve never realised that she had a stutter. Until now. In her TEDxSydney talk, To Or Not Let Go, Washington reveals “I’m an adult woman who spends her life as a performer with a speech impediment” . It’s a moving talk with a number of quotable moments including “People think I’m drunk all the time”- at least she has an excuse.

She also throws in a song at the end.

Read: Evan Minsker- How To DJ Your Own Wedding

Most weddings are unwillingly destined for a soundtrack of Ronan Keating and Andre Rieu but Pitchfork writer, Evan Minsker, has selflessly let us into the musings behind his wedding playlist. It covers everything from Processional/Recessional to dancing with Mum and Dad. Surprisingly there is nothing cringe-worthy in sight. Not even a Boyz II Men mention. While he’s resisted adding any Rick Ross or 2 Chainz, he gives a nod to contemporaries like Robyn and Sky Ferreira. The music is undoubtedly the hardest part of a wedding, so with this handy guide we're already half-way down the aisle.

Have a read over at Pitchfork.

Listen: The-Drum- Lo-Motion Singles Vol.1

Chicago production duo The-Drum have just started a new label called Lo-Motion and this compilation is the first release off it. You’ll have to excuse us, it’s not exactly free, it’ll cost you $1 but treat it like a gold coin donation and you’ll feel like you’re doing something good for the world. That feeling is priceless. As well as featuring a whole lot of delicious new names, the compilation also has tracks from The GTA, Dre Green and The-Drum’s own RnB side-project JODY. If you’re looking to impress your friends with new music that not even you know quite yet, look no further.

Listen: Rome Fortune & Four Tet- One Time For

We featured Atlanta rapper Rome Fortune in our Most Underrated Albums of 2014 feature a few weeks back but since then he’s kept dropping sporadic pieces of gold. The latest track to emerge is produced by Englishman Four Tet, who pretty much slayed all you bitches when he was out here for Laneway Festival earlier this year. You can download One Time For for free from his Soundcloud. While you’re at it you can also take note of the blurb which explains that this is one of two collaborative tracks between the two. Hooray for dance and rap music's glorious marriage. [soundcloud]https://soundcloud.com/romefortune/one-time-for-prod-four-tet[/soundcloud]

Until next week, extreme bargain hunters...
